School work requires a kitchen contractor that understands how to work a tight schedule. Ladue Horton-Watkins High School gave Servco another chance to showcase its ability to manufacture the highest quality product within that tight schedule. Our standard time frame for design, markup, and fabrication had to be cut short in order to allow the school to reopen on time. Since demolition couldn't occur until school let out for the summer, Servco had to get as much of the project moving, before acquiring field dimensions, by working off a Guaranteed Wall Plan. We turned the balance of the job around for approval right after the demolition was completed. Since all of these items were coordinated up front, Servco was able to meet the schedule and get the kitchen open with time to spare before school started.
On top of the shortened fabrication schedule, Servco also fabricated custom servery counters with custom powder coated raised front panels, custom sneeze guards, and installed buyouts from separate suppliers. Since Servco was awarded both the Ladue High School and Middle School projects at the same time, and each school was on the same schedule, we had to plan our project phasing with the General Contractor to ensure that when the appropriate phases of each kitchen was ready, Servco was prepared to install on both projects.
